THE CONNECTICUT CABARET THEATRE
My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra
A Musical Created by David Grapes and Todd Olson
Directed by Kris McMurray
Musically Directed by TJ Thompson
July 7th thru August 5th, 2017
This musical revue will take you from his early beginnings as a crooner in New York, to the bright lights of Las Vegas with the Rat Pack, to his final performances. It’s a celebration just as Ol’ Blue Eyes would have wanted it – a few stories, a few drinks, and plenty of knockout tunes. Featuring over fifty of Sinatra’s greatest hits including, “Strangers in the Night”, “Chicago”, “Fly Me To The Moon”, “That’s Life”, and, of course, “New York, New York”. Performed in our fabulous cabaret setting, My Way is an evening of unforgettable music that proves that “The Best is Yet to Come”. Grab your best guy or gal and join us for a classy tribute, a little romance with dynamic crooners, and a swingin’ three-piece jazz band.
Kris McMurray, Artistic Director and Owner, invites everyone to celebrate the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre’s 20th year Anniversary. My Way will mark the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre’s milestone. McMurray states unlike all too many other Sinatra tributes, My Way doesn't try to replicate the sound of Sinatra, but instead presents the sounds of Sinatra. Joining Kaite Corda and Jon Escobar on stage will be music director TJ Thompson, guitar/bass Jamie Sherwood, and drummer Tim Urso.
